The company extends the following limited warranty on the BASSSI Flooring’ Horizontal & Vertical Applications with Natural and Carbonized Finish’ when purchased in the USA.

These limited warranties extend to the original purchaser only.

Defects: The company warrants, to the original purchaser, that the floor you purchased will remain free from manufacturing defects in material, workmanship, in lamination, assembly, milling, dimension and grading for as long as the original purchaser owns the home or commercial building. To file claim, first consult with your retailer or dealers where the original purchase was made. Twenty five (25) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

PRE-FINISH:

The company warrants that it is an acrylic polyurethane finish and will not wear through for a period of Twenty five (25) years from the date of installation under normal residential traffic condition and use. Proper maintenance guideline must be followed and cleaning solutions specifically recommended by the manufacturer must be used. There are no other express or limited warranties as set forth above.

PRE-INSTALLATION WARRANTY:

Inspect material carefully before installation. Any material installed with obvious defects will not be warranted. Installers are advised to inspect material carefully before installation. Any materials installed with any defects will not be warranted. If not 100% satisfied, you just return the uncut planks to dealer or to the original place of purchase, and those planks not meeting our specifications will be replaced at no cost. Since this is a natural bamboo product, there will be variation in color, tone, and grain. Such variation will not cover by this warranty. Further, this warranty provision is void upon installation of the flooring.

This warranty is valid only if the owner can provide an original proof of purchase and ownership of BASSI flooring. BASSI warranty does not extend to damage caused by accidents, alterations, misuse, abuse, normal wear and tear, and direct exposure to the elements, improper installation, or damages during shipping which are beyond the manufacturer contract.

• The company is not responsible for matching your existing condition such as stair railing, kitchen cabinet, and trim molding accessories or wood flooring.
• BASSI nodes or fiber streaks are not considered defects, but naturally occurring.
• Exposure to sunlight will bring about changes in shading of any hardwood or bamboo floors as the floor age.
• Maintenance and care should be considered for a long lasting surface and natural beauty.
• Water damaged and / or moisture, from broken pipes, leaking pipes, cleaning, and natural disaster, are excluded from company warranties.
• Installers must follow in accordance with company or industry guideline. National Hardwood Flooring Association Guidelines must be followed for sub-floor preparation, moisture content, and radiant heat control. Moisture barrier under-layments must be used accordingly.
• Any wood or bamboo floors requires that humidity control must be used in unstable environments and always be maintained between 45% to 60 % humidity level.
• Room temperatures should not exceed 78-80F degree. Room with radiant heat, must have thermostats set accordingly to room temperature.
• No installer, retailer, or distributor and manufacturer or employee can alter the warranty without the consent of BASSI.

IMPORTANT WARRANTY EXCLUSION FROM COVERAGE:

The Company do not cover: indentations, scratches , stains, or damaged caused by negligence, fire, moisture, excessive heat in room temperature, erosion, pebbles, sand or other abrasives, pets, insects, spike heels shoes, weather conditions or natural disasters, and color variations, naturally occurring Bamboo floor characteristics, failure to follow all manufactures written installation and/or maintenance instructions, improper maintenance, wet mopping, insufficient protection, and misuse or improper alterations of original manufacture products.

The Company Warranties do not cover natural expansion and contraction resulting in separation between boards or damage by low or excessive humidity. This writing is the complete and exclusive statement of the express warranties provided herein and is in lieu of all the other express and/or statutory warranties by the manufacturer, to the extend provided by law. BASSI assumes no liability for accidental or consequential damages. The sole remedy provided by this Warranty is the repair or replacement of defective products. This Warranty does not cover the cost of removal or installation.

For any claim, BASSI or an authorized representative must inspect the floor and assess the cause of damage before honoring a damage claim.
