Our products are made of Mao (Maozhou) bamboo from South China, the Lin’an region.
The climatic and topographic characteristics make Mao bamboo more dense and harder than most bamboo’s species.
Bamboo is an extremely fast growing grass and it can be harvested every 3 to 5 years. Choosing bamboo flooring is to choose to preserve the forest which takes decades to replace LEED, the Leader in Energy and Environmental Design, and the US Green Building Council, (USGBC) recognize bamboo flooring as a rapid renewable material, allowing one credit to your LEED Certification.
